This is my way way too early look at college football tickets. I know, I know, the college football season just ended but it’s never too early to look at another year of SEC domination in the world of college football. The SEC has now won five consecutive BCS National Championship Games and next season they’ll make it six.
My contender for the next crown? This week it’s the LSU Tigers, a team that did amazingly well under heavy pressure and honestly, with very little offense. If you look at the Auburn Tigers, they has Cam Newton under center. If the LSU Tigers had only half of a Cam Newton, they could have won the SEC and been BCS Champions.
Of course, after a dismal offense season, the LSU Tigers cleaned house on that side of the ball. Les Miles has now hired Steve Kragthorpe as offensive coordinator. Kragthorpe comes to the Tigers by way of Tulsa and Louisville where he successfully installed a pro-style offense. Better yet, the LSU Tigers will be running an offense with Zach Mettenberger under center, a top recruit who lost his way at Georgia and is playing for redemption. Give Les Miles and the LSU tigers a good quarterback to go with their great defense and LSU Tigers tickets will be bangin’ on Saturday nights in Death Valley.
