College Basketball – Ranking on Rankings

 It’s a game the media loves to play and so do we, the sports lovers out there. Each and every year we go through and elaborate process of analyzing all teams in a conference, then nationally, in a futile effort to decide which college basketball team is the best in the country. It never works. Yes, we may pick the top 5 or so and be in the ballpark come Final Four time but does a ranking system really make sense on any given night. Nope. I give you the Louisville Cardinals (Rank #20), emerging victorious over the Pittsburgh Panthers last night. Who will be the next #1 in college basketball now that the king is dead? Probably the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Long live the king. At least this week.
