The New Kids on the Block are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a once downtrodden franchise that is finding it’s legs under the quarterbacking of Josh Freeman. Big, strong, and with a knack for the big play, Freeman showed his moxy tady as he led the Buccaneers back from a 17-0 halftime deficit to beat the Minnesota Vikings 24-20 in Minnesota.
After losing at Detroit last week, the Bucs knew they had to find a way to win in Minnesota. A miserable first half that had the team showing 62 yards of offense turned into a gutsy second half and a huge confidence building win for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And they’ll need it. Existing in a division that features, Matt Ryan, Pro Bowl and Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees, and a future super star in Cam Newton, the NFC South is going to be a war zone with the best generals in the NFL. Stay tuned.
