Brickyard 400

by on July 23, 2010 updated July 23, 2010

It’s week 20 on the 36 race Sprint Cup circuit and that means the Brickyard 400 is up to bat. held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway the Brickyard 400 is a sure fire thing for NASCAR fans. Looking back over recent history, the Brickyard 400 is kind of a who’s who of NASCAR winners. It just doesn’t seem to be an underdog kind of race. Only the best hit the winners circle at the Brickyard 400.

Right now in 2010 the leader in the standings in Kevin Harvick. Now Harvick has won the Brickyard 400 but that was back in 2003. But Harvick is up against Jeff Gordon, who has ruled the Brickyard 400 an amazing five times. In my mind Gordon is the guy to beat. But then thre’s Jimmie Johnson, who’s managed to notch three wins at Indy. Any way you cut it the Brickyard 400 is going to be a winner, but the guy left standing is sure to be a top driver for the rest of the year.
