Brian Urlacher and the Bear Market

From the Windy City comes the pitiful story of Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher. Why, the man is faced with the terrible fate of starvation, tryng to survive on a mere $13 million a year deal. I don’t know how he does it. Rumor has it that at one time, Urlacher had to sign a sub-prime mortgage deal for his home and is now faced with losing it. He’s also having trouble making payments on his Game Cube and the furniture he got from Aaron Rents. Sometimes he even has to eat at places with regular people, you know, those making a little less than $13 million annually.

Excuse me, but it’s kind of hard for me to relate to his problem. How about looking at it like this: You signed a deal, live by it. You’re making in one week what most people make in a decade. How about this: Quit your bitching and play. If you don’t like the pay, go work somewhere else and see how much you get. By the way, pictured above are six guys who wish they were making $13 million.
