Ok, what a Christmas gift. the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers meet up on Christmas day. It’s going to be a hard fought bitter battle, a way to lance the wound of words and attitudes that have marked this rivalry. In recent months the insults have flown back and forth, egged on by the bitterness of the Celtics NBA Championship and the Lakers almost annual pilgrimage into the winners circle.
Boston comes into the game riding an incredible 19-game winning streak. The Lakers are 23-5 and leading the Western Conference. Get the picture? Neither of these teams is used to losing and neither has any use for the other. Sounds like Christmas at my in-laws.
