Atlanta Falcons Playoff tickets are a real possibility in 2011 but the Falcons still have some winning to do if they want to make playoff tickets a reality. Mathematically the Falcons still have shot at the NFC South but realistically that probably won’t occur. The New Orleans Saints would have to drop their three remaining games, one of which is in New Orleans on a Monday night, along with Atlanta winning out. So let’s just look at the odds of a Wild Card spot.
Atlanta is standing at 8-5, tied with the Detroit Lions for a Wild Card spot should the standings remain the same. But the Cowboys are only a game behind, as are the Giants. One of those will win the NFC East leaving the other to contend against the Falcons for a playoff spot. Wins against Jacksonville and or New Orleans or Tampa Bay would leave the Atlanta Falcons at 10-6 and a probable Wild Card winner.
But if Falcons Playoff tickets are to be a reality, Atlanta must find some semblance of stability, establishing a running game and giving Matt Ryan some time to pass, along with finding something in their defense on which to hang their hats. If they can do that, Atlanta Falcons playoff tickets just might pay off.
